Former diplomat Haller resigns from Nord Stream 2 unit’s board
MOSCOW, Feb 4 (PRIME) -- Former German diplomat Dieter Walter Haller has resigned from his position of chairman of the supervisory board of Gas for Europe GmbH, a firm created to operate the German part of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline, Nord Stream 2 AG said in a statement on Friday.
In late January, the German Foreign Ministry prohibited Haller from working in the supervisory board of Gas for Europe GmbH.
Nord Stream 2 AG appointed Michael Feist and Wolfgang Peters as the new members of the subsidiary’s supervisory board, and the board will elect a new chairman at its next meeting.
